Lynann Barnes

Lynann Barnes is an Audit Director at Mellor and Associates, bringing more than a decade of public accounting experience and over 27 years of prior industry experience as a Controller. She has experience leading and managing a diverse portfolio of audit engagements, including construction, manufacturing, service, retail, distribution, employee benefit plans, etc. Clients value Lynann’s thoughtful, relationship-focused approach and her commitment to delivering clear, reliable, and timely assurance solutions. Lynann loves working with and mentoring staff at all levels and is recognized for her leadership, attention to detail, and dedication to continuous improvement. She is also a key contributor to the firm’s internal training and quality initiatives through her work on firm committees to develop standardized templates and lead professional education. Lynann holds a Master of Accounting from Weber State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Utah.
